Presented by Dr Henry Burridge, Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London
Henry began his presentation by explaining the background of the SAMHE (Schools’ Air quality Monitoring for Health and Education) project and the importance of good IAQ. Moving onto the project in more detail, Henry covered the air quality monitors used, the methodology of working with schools, engagement and reach, and crucially the findings and recommendations for ventilation and air quality in schools.
Touching on the core themes of ventilation, impact of the weather, BB101 guidance, carbon dioxide (CO2), and particulate matter (PM), Henry then discussed how to define good IAQ, before giving a final round up of recommendations.
Henry was interviewed for Simon Jones’s Air Quality Matters Podcast.
The IAQmatters conference presentations are now available on the Eurovent website.
