From 4th-5th March, Data Centre World 2026 lit up the ExCeL London, and the team from Eurovent Certification, Eurovent Market Intelligence and Eurovent Association was right at the heart of the action. As sponsor of the Energy Efficiency, Cost Management & DCIM theatre, Eurovent Certification delivered a standout presence with four high-impact presentations, including a keynote on the main stage. Meanwhile in the exhibition area, the team was on hand to welcome visitors throughout the two-day show at stand F90.
Part of the wider Tech Show London, Data Centre World once again proved why it is a cornerstone of the global data infrastructure calendar. With over 19,000 visitors, 450+ exhibitors, and more than 200 hours of expert content, the event brought together the brightest minds shaping the future of data centres, from AI and cloud to energy efficiency and next-generation cooling.
From C-level leaders to engineers and operators, the audience reflected the full spectrum of the digital infrastructure ecosystem. In the UK tech landscape, the event continues to sit at the crossroads of AI, cloud, and infrastructure, highlighting the critical role data centres play in powering the modern economy.
Across four sessions - three featuring leading certified manufacturers - Eurovent Certification showcased how independent, verified performance data is transforming data centre cooling.
The programme kicked off on Wednesday morning over in the Energy Efficiency, Cost Management & DCIM theatre, with a deep dive into the “Customer Benefits of Certified IT Cooling Performance in Data Centres.” Mustafa Dilsen, Head of Thermodynamics Commercial & Industrial Department at Eurovent Certification and Andrea Spazzini, EMEA, Offering Manager Chilled Water System Thermal Management at Vertiv, explored how certification supports smarter procurement and more reliable factory testing, before bringing it to life with a real-world case study from the Netherlands.
Thursday opened in the same theatre with a dynamic panel discussion on “System Efficiency in Data Centres: When Certified Chillers, Cooling Towers and/or Dry Coolers Work as One.” Taha Ouilali, Cooling Tower Programme Manager at Eurovent Certification took the lead as moderator, with special guests Stefano Filippini, Innovation & Applied Research Director at LU-VE, Shabarish Nunna, Application Manager at BAC and Jérémie Chang, Data Center Marketing Manager - Europe - Carrier Klimatechnik GmbH. The discussion highlighted how certified chillers, cooling towers and dry coolers can work together as a high-performance ecosystem, unlocking real-world efficiency gains and giving operators a competitive edge.
Later that day, the focus turned to free cooling, with a presentation on “Free Cooling in Data Centres: Why the Evaluation of a Third Party is Needed?” Jérémie Chang returned to the stage to be joined by Loris Seganfreddo, LCPHP Programme Manager & Auditor at Eurovent Certification. The presentation demonstrated why independent evaluation is essential. From validated data to certified selection software, the session showed how certification drives better system design, greater transparency, and stronger customer confidence.
The action then moved to the prestigious keynote theatre. Taking to the stage, Matthew Nudd, UK Partnership Manager at Eurovent Certification delivered a compelling talk on “Trusted Cooling Data: The Hidden Infrastructure of AI.”
Blending storytelling with technical insight, he made a powerful case for why reliable, verified cooling data is becoming mission-critical in the age of AI. His message was clear: certification is not just a technical detail, it is a foundation for reducing risk, cutting energy costs, and designing data centres that can keep pace with extreme computing demands.
Data Centre World 2026 delivered once again - bringing together innovators, decision-makers, and industry leaders for two days of insight, discussion, and collaboration.
For Eurovent Certification, it was an opportunity to connect with specifiers, manufacturers and end users, and to highlight the paramount importance of trusted, certified performance data in modern data centre design.
A big thank you to all speakers and attendees who made the event such a success, and to the organisers for another outstanding edition.
