This certification program of the NF047 Mark covers the heating appliances. It is divided into four sub-programs:
This certification concerns the devices to be used with hot water and for some cases with addition of electricity.
Devices which have the purpose of transferring heat under to provide specific temperature condition inside building.
Radiators et convectors
These products are manufactured in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the EN 442 European standard.
Radiators are heating appliances produced in manufacturing unit with different materials (e.g. steel, aluminium, cast-iron), which emits heat by free convection and radiation.
Convector are heating appliances produced in manufacturing unit established with aluminium battery and casing. The heating is emitted almost entirely by free convection.
Ceiling-mounted radiant panels
These devices are manufactured in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the EN 14037 European standard. There are often used in the tertiary sector. The heating is emitted almost entirely by free radiation.
Radiators and convectors assisted with fan
These devices are manufactured in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the EN 442 European standard equipped with fan intended to increase the convection thermal power.
Mixed radiators
These devices are manufactured in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the EN 442 European standard equipped with electrical resistance and/or blower.
Radiator and mixed towel warming radiator without blower
Comprises a hot water central heating radiator, a resistor and a control system. The immersed resistor is mounted inside the radiator in direct contact with the central heating circuit.
Radiator and mixed towel warming radiator with blower
Comprises a hot water central heating radiator, an electric blower and a control system. The blower is attached to the radiator and cannot be detached.
Radiators and convectors.
