IAQmatters Conference: Performance-based approach simulation

Presentation overview
Ali began with an overview of different types of ventilation systems and how user behaviour has changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He then launched into the key topic of his presentation; the Eurovent IAQ Project. Ali took delegates on a journey through the development of the project and how it offers a performance-based approach to assessing both the effectiveness of the system in tackling pollutants to improve IAQ, and its true energy consumption.
Ali reviewed the project methodology and application, before running through real-life simulation results for a multi-family building. Ali concluded by summing up all the key points while emphasising that decision makers need to make educated choices when choosing ventilation systems.
