Collaboration is central to cracking some of the biggest issues facing the HVAC and refrigeration industry. That’s why Eurovent Certification endeavours to support the work of Europe’s’ leading industry organisations. In Germany, Eurovent Certification is a corporate member of the Deutscher Kälte- und Klimatechnischer Verein (DKV) – the German Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Association - and has acted as sponsor of high profile DKV events.

About DKV

Founded in Berlin in 1909, the DKV is the only German technical-scientific association for the areas of refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump technology. With a membership of more than 1500 members in Germany and beyond, the DKV plays an active role in research, professional development and is involved in industry standards such as DIN.

DKV is a non-profit association which aims to:

• Promote scientific and technical work in the field of refrigeration, air conditioning and heating technology, as well as the cultivation of personal contacts among its members.
• Further development of refrigeration and air conditioning technology. Since its inception, scientists and engineers of international importance and achievement have belonged to DKV.
• Help young engineers find inspiration for their own work and career advancement at DKV. Across all political boundaries, DKV forges lasting friendships.

DKV runs a number of publications and industry events. It is active internationally and is a supporting member of the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) and represents the Federal Republic of Germany in the IIR. The DKV is an associate member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and a member of the Association of Technical and Scientific Associations (DVT).

Corporate members are institutes or associations that work in the field of refrigeration, heating or air conditioning technology, and whose business operations are not aimed at making a profit. Eurovent Certification was proud to be a main sponsor and present “Heat exchanger Technology Advancement and Market Status: A Review,” at the 2024 DKV Conference. Held from 20th-22nd November, some 565 delegates gathered at the Maritim Hotel & International Congress Centre, Dresden. The 3-day event offered a mix of technical presentations, networking and social events, to help the industry learn, grow and build relationships.
