CLEANFACT & RHVAC VIETNAM 2024

Dec 3, 2024

The Vietnamese HVAC and refrigeration (HVACR) sector were out in force for CLEANFACT & RHVAC VIETNAM 2024, the exhibition dedicated to HVACR, cleanrooms, and high-tech factory support. Taking place from 21st – 23rd November, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Eurovent Certification was pleased to be a ‘companion organisation,’ raising the profile of certified products in the Vietnamese market. Eurovent Certification also held a stand in the exhibition area and played a key role in the seminar programme.

With the cleanroom business booming in Vietnam, the CLEANFACT & RHVAC exhibition holds the crown as the largest annual event in the field. It’s a platform for participants to explore the latest trends, innovations, and technologies, bringing together 150+ exhibitors and 7000+ visitors under one roof.

Event highlights

The seminar

Eurovent Certification’s Audit Manager, Mohamed Ouhemmou, joined the presentation line up as part of a three-hour seminar focusing on enhancing competitive advantage for HVAC and refrigeration businesses by meeting Eurovent standards. The seminar also featured a number of expert speakers from the industry, along with certified manufacturer DAIKIN and distributor Air Filtech (Camfil), to provide diverse perspectives and practical solutions towards the sustainable development of Vietnam’s HVAC and refrigeration sector.

The topics for the seminar included:

  • New market demands and trends in modern HVAC design
  • Understanding Eurovent certification for high-performance HVAC equipment in the green transition context
  • Advanced design and the value of Eurovent certified AHUs – a case study by DAIKIN
  • Energy savings in HVAC with Eurovent certified filters - by Air Filtech (Camfil).
  • Panel discussion: Preparing for Vietnam’s green transition goals towards 2025-2030.

Mohamed had the pleasure of presenting his segment alongside Tung Ha Anh, Department Head of Heat and Refrigeration Engineering in Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. Mohamed and Tung discussed the benefits of certification in front of an inquisitive audience, who were keen to understand how high performing Eurovent certified products fit into the context of the green transition.

Relationship building

Over on the exhibition stand, Mohamed made the most of the networking opportunities by talking to visitors and manufacturers about certification and the value it brings to all players in the HVACR market.

We would like to thank the organisers, the International Branding & Communication Joint Stock Company (IBC), INTECH Group, Vietnam Society of Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (VISRAE), and Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) for another fantastic show. Thanks also go to the HCMC Technical University for their help translating on the Eurovent Certification stand, and of course all of those who attended the seminar or dropped by to talk at the exhibition.
