Scope of the programme

The scope of the NF009 certificaton program covers two kinds of devices: Domestic appliances using liquid or solid fuels, i.e.: heating appliances and barbecues.

In more details, it covers the following products:

  • Liquid fuel stoves,
  • Solid fuel stoves:
  • Wood stoves
  • Pellet stoves
  • Coal stoves
  • Hybrid stoves (wood/coal)
  • Open fires and inset appliances fired by solid
  • Fuels
  • Residual cookers fired by solid fuels
  • Wood-fired boilers
  • Barbecues burning solid fuel

Barbecues burning solid fuel Safe use according to the standard and French Decree in force
