On 14th March delegates gathered at the Espace Châteauform, Paris, France for the 7th Heat Pump Day (JPAC). Eurovent Certification was a sponsor of this year’s event, which was organised by the French Association for Heat Pumps (AFPAC).

Eurovent Certification’s General Manager, Arnaud Lacourt, and France Partnership Manager, Sophie Bocquillon were in attendance. The day was an opportunity for both to meet the key players in the sector and discuss the challenges of the market.

Key takeaways from the event were:

  • Aid for energy renovation:
    • Simplification of aid
    • The heat pump is positioned as the most financially supported technology.
  • On the market:
    • A significant decrease in heat pump sales was observed.
    • There has also been a decrease in work commitments.
  • Diane Simiu, Director of Climate, Energy Efficiency and Air at the Ministry of Ecological Transition, reaffirmed the need to continue the fight against eco-crime.
  • Representatives of the European Commission also announced a strengthening of market surveillance.
  • Despite the current challenges, the heat pump sector remains promising.

Eurovent Certification will continue to play its role as a trusted third party by guaranteeing the quality and performance of heat pumps.

A big thank you to the Association AFPAC for this quality event!
